July 11th-13th, 2003 - Falling Rock Park Camp/Dive Trip

For a relaxing, inexpensive weekend of camping and diving close to
Lexington, please look into this trip. It is fresh-water quarry diving,
but the water is very clean and clear with visibility ranging up from 30 to 40
feet. You can opt to come out just for a day or decide to camp out for the
weekend. You can simply relax and camp out or choose to dive one or two
days. There are a number of items sunk in the quarry to give you something
to "search" for. Local diving doesn't get any easier or less expensive
than this! Consider bringing the whole family.

Falling Rock Park is a former rock quarry
located in Oldham county, Kentucky near the city of LaGrange. It is
about 1 1/2 hours drive from Lexington. The quarry is now filled
with water and is available to divers and campers for a small fee. Click

We will be in tents, sleeping bags, local motels, etc. You
need to provide your own camping equipment.

-Generator for cooking, blending, entertainment
-Possible Band on the Island compliments of Joe Clark (In works, keep
fingers crossed)

and weights.

$ 6.00 per-night,
per-person for camping
$15.00 per-day, per-diver for diving
$ 7.00 per-day, per-non-diver for park fee with swimming privileges
$15.00 for the weekend for tanks and weights
$ 3.00 per additional air fill
Camping and diving fees
to be paid directly to the Falling Rock Park operators upon entering the
park. Tanks, weights and air fill costs to be paid directly to
Innerspace Scuba at the conclusion of the weekend. |
