Dates: |
Weekend of
September 26th & 27th, 2009. The houseboat will
be available as early as 2:00 p.m. on Friday the 25th and must be returned
no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday the 28th. Specific meet and leave times
will be established by participants. |
Accommodations: |
64’ x 16’
Houseboat with 2 private bedrooms, 2 cuddy cabins (low berth) and 1 sofa
bed. (All are double beds). The houseboat can accommodate up to 10
people. It has a full kitchen, 1 and ½ baths, ceiling fans, central heat
and air, gas grill, fly bridge and hot-tub (we will get the hot tub if we
act quickly and it is still available). There’s also a TV/VCR/DVD and
linens for the beds. The boat is called the Explorer, you can see

Dive Operator: |
None. You must
bring your own dive gear. Equipment (tanks, weights, etc.) can be reserved
and rented through New Horizons Dive Shop. 2577 Regency Road; Lexington

Transportation: |
You are on your
own for transportation to the Beaver Creek Boat dock located outside of
Monticello, KY. The reservation form will prompt you for information about
carpooling. |
Itinerary: |
The itinerary will be set by
the participants. The houseboat will be available as early as 2:00 p.m. on
Friday the 25th and must be returned by 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
Charlie Denham will be the boat captain. |
Costs: |
A $100.00 deposit per
person is required by 5 people to secure the boat. The exact price will
vary depending upon (1) the number of participants, (2) whether or not you
share a room or bed with someone and (3) how much gas is used.
We must have at least 5
participants submit registration forms and a $100.00 deposit for each
participant in order for this trip to be secured. Deposits must be received
by August 15th in order to reserve the boat.
